I spent New Year’s Eve with my family and a hundred or so of our closest friends in Ironforge and Stormwind, enjoying the fireworks, saluting one another with toasting goblets, and drinking from beer mugs until my screen went fuzzy and monster levels were inaccurate.
My (family) team visited the Christmas tree for one last gift, threw snow flakes about, and grabbed our share of mistletoe. (As they say, the family that plays WoW together stays together.)
We were having so much fun that we didn’t even realize when the clock ticked over and it was officially 2008!
IRL we had Baked Salmon (Camp Mojache style,) rice, and green salad, followed by a really good homemade bread pudding with a delicate orange flavoring. See the recipe section for the Ironforge Bread Pudding recipe; it’s a really good comfort food dessert that is simple to prepare.
