My alter ego is the Tauren Chef. I wield a massive solid oak rolling pin and stomp around my kitchen flinging flour and butter everywhere (for which my dogs and cats are eternally grateful.) I revel in grilling, roasting, and broiling hefty cuts of beef and tender, fresh fillets of salmon and halibut. The scent of baking bread fills my kitchen on a regular basis. And let’s not forget the desserts- pies, cakes, cookies- what could be more fun than sliding a sinfully rich dessert into the oven? That’s right, taking it out when it’s done and eating it!

You get the idea. OK, so maybe Tauren Chef is a misnomer. A chef, after all, is someone who has an army of cooks and others all working under him/her. Maybe Tauren Cook would be more appropriate, but, somehow, it just doesn’t have the same cachet.
